Users of Corporate clothing and workwear have traditionally maintained a large in-house infrastructure to control the purchase and distribution of uniform clothing. Some of the larger laundry companies and corporate users of uniforms such as local authorities, ../images/transport companies and utilities are now seeking to outsource as much as possible of this function. This module of the Xe-ERP software system can be combined with the Sales Order Processing module to control Corporate and Work Wear distribution and "Uniform" management. This will enable Apparel manufacturers and importers to take over this role, for a management fee, from their customers.
A database of users can be maintained organised into companies and depots, with lists of uniform items to which they are entitled and all sizeing details. Garments can be given a value in points so that the user entitlement can be tracked in points as well as garments, allowing a high level of flexibility of control. The ability to block users with exhausted entitlement, delivery and invoicing at user, depot or company level, automatic down dating of inventory and automatic conversion of requirements in to purchase orders; are all standard features.
